Progress

I know no one is reading this yet - it takes a while to get into google's index, but anyway ... here is a photo taken today. Compared to the one taken on 5 Nov, you can see progress is being made. It is slow progress, and sometimes I have been discouraged, thinking I have only imagined the improvement.

But I think this photo tells a different story ... noticed how the whitish, bumpy area on the glans has improved (you cant really even see it in this new photo) - you can actually just see how the skin is a bit flaky there, no doubt sloughing off the dead cells.

But also, you can compare how much less constriction there is.

At this rate, I will be applying sticky honey that the saran wrap doesn't quite contain during the night, waking up with sticky underpants, for another 6 months. But hey, its cheap and I will probably come up with a better idea than the saran wrap ... I'm thinking of jumbo condoms which would fit tight enough to contain the honey but loose enough not to be uncomfortable during spontaneous night time erections.

hello, Im reading your blog, and it's very interesting. I have the same problems, i have this kind of phimosis and white spots on my glans. Now, im trying with Matricaria recutita tea bath (for 15min/day). some of my red areas on my foreskin already dissapeared (4 days). If I have bxo will i have cancer?

I have a similar issue with my penis. I have that tight ring. Does this mean this is Phimosis? I have seen some pics of guys that can't pull back the forskin at all. Mine is that bad. I have pull it back but I have the ring...

I have a very similar problem and I think we must have read some the same stuff suggesting keeping the area dry. I have been doing that and applying rubbing alcohol now and then to clean and dry out the area. It does burn though. I experimented with several ways to keep the foreskin retracted during the day and found the best are those elestic bands women use for ponytails. You can cut and re-tie them to right size if needed. I don't put one on at night, but I find that after a day retracted the forskin will pretty much stay retracted most of the night. Anyway, I had a large improvement over a few months and now it's pretty much stabilized. I have been on this plan for about a year and I would say I'm about 80% better. Consistancy is the key and maybe if I was really consistant I would be able to cure it. But you are right, if you get lazy about keeping the area dry it starts to get worse again.

Very interresting blog - just what I was looking for. I have also come acrose the Manuka Honey and actually ordered some a few days ago. On the women boards some women refered to a product called Perrins Blend...and a good few women had huge praise reports on it. Some of the base ingredients in perrins is: Honey! I am SURE it is Manuka. The blend also contains high antioxidants like Alpha Lipoic Acid...grapeseed extract etc.

Do you have the white patches around the meatus(?) the opening on your glans? If so...can you show photos and your progress. I also have taken photos and want to see if the honey will show a change.

What I cannot understand is the concept of creating a circumsision. Why does the glans need to be dry?

Thank you again and keep posting your progress since this will be very helpful to other men.
